Good to see ya, glad not to be ya

Has anyone else noticed that to eat vegetables is healthy, but to be like vegetables is unhealthy? Eating carrots, broccoli, and tomatoes is good. Vegging out, or being a couch potato or being corny is bad. Fruits seem to run negative in the mental health vein (fruitcake, going bananas, completely nuts). I find it ironic that the very things that are supposed to make us physically healthy have become negative character traits in the American vernacular.

Does this have anything to do with the rising level of obesity in our nation? There’s got to be some conspiracy here, I just don’t know who’s behind it.

Maybe Frito-Lay?
